best flavoured protein

i really like 'designer whey' protein in chocolate form. vanilla is good too they taste really good. they are even ok in water. in milk, they taste great. any natural whey protein with no sweeteners added tastes...plain and wierd so if you have natural whey, add a bananna. tahts what i do. i'v never tasted a strawberry flavored whey but it sounds good doesnt it? mmm.

6 star whey protein is good too in chocolate. i get that at walmart.

and mix in a blender if you dont want ANY particles.

Optimum Nutrition makes good flavors. good quality too.

is where I get my current protein, Nitrean...and is the ONLY place to get it. tastey stuff as well.

I would stay far far away from Twin Lab though.

EAS isn't bad...not great. average quality.

yes the atlarge is a little more expensive, but its not 100% whey, its a blend of whey's and casein, which some research has shown is superior to the best pure whey, even for post workout nutrition.

plus its casein so its more filling, and it mixes a little easier in a shaker cup, which is ideal for me when I'm at work.

Well the thing is no one knows what it will do to us in the long run.

small amounts in each serving adds up to a lot if you keep taking artifically flavored supplements everyday, so i'd rather not take the risk and intake supplements with splenda for the small fitness gains that may otherwise be overshadowed by the bigger risks due to splenda..... just a bigger picture of how i look at it.

Malkore - your opinion on Nitor?

Malkore - what's your opinion of the "Nitor" product in terms of added energy for working out and speedier weight loss? Discovered it after visiting the site that sells the Nitrean and it sounded interesting.

I have tried 2 different kinds of protein shakes. I have tried Designer Whey Vanilla and Optimum Nutrition vanilla 100% natural whey gold standard. By far Optimum Nutrition is better tasting. Designer Whey did not mix very well for me and left some protein floating at the top of the glass sometimes, on top of that it tastes horrible. But each person has different taste glands and the vanilla flavor probably made it a little worse. I would still recommend Optimum Nutrition.

I find Optimum Nutrition does taste good, but it has a weak flavor to me (the double rich chocolate is anything but rich imo).

Have you tried the vanilla? It tastes excellent. I do not get the shiver taste that i got with Designer Whey. You know, the little cold you get at the back of your neck after you drink something that tastes horrible :D

Thank you Malkore for the mention of our products here.

Nitrean is a blend of 3 fractions of whey (isolate primary, then hydrolyzed and concentrate), casein, and egg proteins. Whey is 64% of the total protein content followed by casein and egg at 18% each.

This blend makes for a SUPERIOR net retention of ingested protein.

The March issue of Men's Heath cites a study showing a casein and whey blend to provide superior results and our product as one they "like" (not an ad).

Nitor is our premium stimulant/fat loss product. It packs a HUGE punch in terms of being a stimulant (for fat loss as well), and most users find they have to start with a half dose or less.

I use Cytosport vanilla whey protein. It is delicious, tastes like a malt. I bought mine from a local nutrition store, I believe it was around $40 for a huge thing of it, which will probably be a 2 month supply for me.

I also use a casein protein, I forgot the brand though. That also tastes great. Funny story too, when I bought it, apparently somebody accidently put it up for 75% off instead of 25%, so I got a huge deal on it! *borat voice* very nice!

I just use the GNC Unflavored Whey Protein, I cant stand any of the flavors.

I heard that ISOPURE tastes really good. It was also Men's Fitness supp of the month, also referring to the great taste. I was going to try it but at GNC it was 55$ for a 1 month supply, but I'm sure its cheaper online.
