Just when you think there's nothing new to try, they invent a new form of bread! Arnold's whole wheat sandwich thins have recently appeared in my local supermarkets (or maybe i just noticed them). They are WONDERFUL. They're a lot like flattened whole wheat English muffins, deftly pre-sliced so you can make sandwiches from them. The texture is slightly chewy like English muffins, but less crumbly. Even though they are only 1/4" thin, they stand up tall in the toaster. Did I mention that one sliced muffin is only 100 calories? These little darlings are the perfect solution to so many things.
Anyway, today's breakfast started with a toasted sliced sandwich thin spread with crunchy natural almond butter and topped with 3 kinds of fresh berries. Added a little decorative cup of vanilla kefir with nutmeg sprinkled over it. Topped off with a big mug of rich coffee, this was a fabulous breakfast.
Not only that, a couple of the funnies were actually FUNNY this morning. I LOLed at one. No, really, I did. Best breakfast ever. Picture here:
