Just when you think there's nothing new to try, they invent a new form of bread! Arnold's whole wheat sandwich thins have recently appeared in my local supermarkets (or maybe i just noticed them). They are WONDERFUL. They're a lot like flattened whole wheat English muffins, deftly pre-sliced so you can make sandwiches from them. The texture is slightly chewy like English muffins, but less crumbly. Even though they are only 1/4" thin, they stand up tall in the toaster. Did I mention that one sliced muffin is only 100 calories? These little darlings are the perfect solution to so many things.

Anyway, today's breakfast started with a toasted sliced sandwich thin spread with crunchy natural almond butter and topped with 3 kinds of fresh berries. Added a little decorative cup of vanilla kefir with nutmeg sprinkled over it. Topped off with a big mug of rich coffee, this was a fabulous breakfast.

Not only that, a couple of the funnies were actually FUNNY this morning. I LOLed at one. No, really, I did. Best breakfast ever. Picture here:

I just book marked this for myself :) thank you for sharing it.

For a simple guy you're pretty sophisticated with the spices. :)
Sounds delicious. The pinch of cinnamon is an interesting addition. My husband and I both like spinach omelettes. Maybe I'll try your spice combo. As it happens, I have basil, cilantro and garlic chives growing in my brand-new-this-year herb garden.

I think I'd eat it with my new favorite bread product though. I like a little more carb in my breakfast.

It looks delicious! The bread looks like little baby pancakes that are 100 cals each! :3 Ugh, I'd try that but I'm afraid we don't have that kind of stuff in my country v_v

For healthy breakfast, I got nothing that's tasty. Nutella is not healthy.

What, no peanut butter? What country do you live in?

Philippines o.o We have peanut butter but not those berries haha

Any kind of fruit will do. A lot of people like peanut butter with bananas. I prefer a fruit that is a little more acidic for contrast with the peanut butter. I think my favorite fruit with peanut butter is kiwi fruit.

I eat half a small avocado mixed with fat free cottage cheese and sometimes add some sliced almonds. That's my favourite!

I like 3 x poached eggs on 2 x toast. Sprinkle a little chopped onion and red pepper flakes and I'm good to go.
I often breakfast by 6am and have lunch close to 12. Snack will likely be an apple+yogurt.

Breakfast sandwiches are my new favorite. I found these thin bagels that are 110 calories, and I fill them with a fried egg white, fat free cheese, mustard, lettuce and tomato!

I prefer something warm for breakfast, but it sounds really good for lunch or a snack. Normally I wouldn't really think of putting avocado with cottage cheese, but you're right - it's great! I just ate a delicious wrap that I made today for lunch with deli turkey breast, avocado and a little bit of cottage cheese. The three ingredients were scrumptious together. It was maybe a little bland, but I had packed a few sweet pickles on the side, which added some savory tang.

I must say it looks delicious!!! I'm usually a cerial or scrambled egg on toast kinda guy.
