Quick Weight Loss?

Try Billy Blanks "Tae Bo Total Body Fat Blaster" I went from pudgy to nice and slim in about 3 months - working out every morning. Good Luck! I hope you find somthing that will work for you.

Hey Friz,

For reducing body size, I would recommend jogging a great "bang for the buck" cardio exercise. Not only will you drop weight very quickly but you will also be toning your calves and thighs. You might also want to mix in jumping rope which is an excellent exercise to burn serious calories and get an overall body workout. Boxers and wrestlers jump rope to quicky drop weight and it should work well for you. Start slow to get the movement down and then move up to a more advanced level.

I would say jogging running or hiking are all great cardio exercises i lost about 30 pds in a month in a half from running everyday about a mile than gradually you can move up to two to three miles a day you'll feel great i also added pilates in if i wanted to take a day off from running!!!!

Those all sound like great routines. However you may want to take it easy on those knee joints if your knees bother you like mine do. I used to run a lot and I loved it, but I had to back off due to the wear on my joints. I hope that doesn't happen to you! Just remember to keep your workout fun! Make it something that you look forward to doing and watch the pounds melt away.

wow! 30 lbs in a month and a half? what kind of eating plan were you following? that is A LOT of weight in such a short amount of time! I wish i could do that...

anyone know of a good morning booster before work? i usually 'roll' outta bed in the morning around 730 just in time to be at work at 9. (i live in a city full of lites, an average morning takes about 15-30 min drive to work) i'm just looking for like a 10-20 min workout i can do at home, other than the Gazelle (by Tony Little), that would help me to lose weight before my wedding day in October. Thanks!

Hey Aggie..

Your post is off the thread topic...so I'd post it as a new thread - you'll probably get more answers that way.

I don't work out in the morning so I'm not sure, guess anything would work...probably something outside would be more energizing.

Hi I would recommend stair running if you have stairs...great workout, awesome calorie burning and you only have to do a short time of it for a great workout.

The other is skipping, absolutely great at shrinking the body and building muscle while only taking a short time:D

After having my 3rd baby in September 2005, I did the Slim In 6 Series, from Beachbody.com. It really works! And it was only 6 weeks, so I it was something I could stick to. After that 6 weeks was over, I had a resting week and then went on to the Slim Series dvds. They really work on every part of the body. I felt so good when I got to my prepregnancy weight in just a matter of weeks!

Beth - - - it's sad to hear about knee pain when you want to run, eh? I just did a 4 mile race last Saturday and it felt amazing to accomplish, but I woke up Sunday and could hardly get out of bed then trying to get down the stairs almost made me cry. I had been working so hard to get up to that distance and had great hopes of running in a 10k this summer......but my knee is still in a lot of pain and I don't know if I'll be able to get back to running. I'm on the eliptical for now and it just doesn't feel like I'm doing my body the good it did while I was running. I feel fat, bloated and actually unmotivated because I can't run.
So.....after all that - - how is your knee or knees? How long has it been since you've run?
thanks
donna
