Sport Bernard Matthews Turkey Slices

Sport Fitness
Today i went looking for something to up my protein intake, as i was told it was too low (90 instead of what should be 140 ish)

so i bought some turkey slices to have with lunch (veg and bean soup and slice granary bread)

however, ive nibbled on the nearly whole bleeding packet over the course of the day

per 200 g (1 pack) there is

1.2 fat (0.4 saturated)
200kcals
40g protein
3.2 carbs
1.6 salt

so is this a good thing to eat?

otherwise today ive had

breakfast - porridge (oatmeal) with banana

snack - apple, all natural nut bar, protein shake

lunch - tin bean and veg soup with slice bread, fat free yoghurt and few blueberries

snack - home made protein bar (nuts and fruit, whey included)

is the turkey ok? feels like im eating for the sake of it, but nutritionally i think its justified?!?!?!

Thanks all

can anyone help????

I think it's fine. Don't overdo it because you think you need to. And is the turkey the only meat you eat? If so, you need some variety in your life. There's a whole world yet to be discovered! Get to eating!

I personally feel you should add some protein to your breakfast. Also, Are you drinking plenty of water ?

i drink around 2-3 litres a day, and expel a lot too.

i might have to start pre-boiling eggs for the mornings.
