Sport Beginners guide to dieting?

Hi, I just started hitting the gym. My main focus is my abs. I just want to know if what is the proper diet i should do? I did a research in google and some say like I should break down my meal for 5. I dont know about the calorie stuff and math like in some website so im just wondering if this diet is okay

Meal1: egg the oats
Meal2: bread with egg
Meal3: Rice and meat
Meal4: just a coffee and a little cookies
Meal5: a little rice and a meat(really depends)

Is that diet okay?
Please help
