beginner

hey im 25 5'9" 225lbs just starting my workout routein. i have access to a small gym at the apartment complex i live at so i have limited equipment. I have reduced calorie intake to between 1800 and 2500 calories, with lots of chicken and tuna fish although i have already eaten pizza and its the second week! Just looking for some advice and reccomendations for losing weight and building muscle. i currently do 6 sets of 8 reps of chest press machine, shoulder press machine, sitting pull downs, standing pull downs, and bicep curls. i do shoulders one day and biceps and chest the other, and i always try and do ten minutes on each treadmill, bycicle, and elliptical. I hope to incorporate pushup pyramid sooner rather than later. How important is it to work out the abs and legs since spot training is a myth. i grew up playing hockey and baseball and have big legs so i dont want to add anymore muscle there. Any extra advice or criticism positive or negative is very welcome. I am using the weight loss journal option to track my weight loss so anyone on the site can see it. My initial goal is 185lbs in 16 weeks is that too ambitious i dont think so really but i guess it could be im a newbie i dont know.
 
is there no leg press machines in this gym?
 
there is no leg press just hamstring and leg curl machine. i really dont want my legs getting more muscular than they are, should i still work them out other than what the cardio is doing for them?
 
yes still work your legs and stay strict with the diet. no pizzas!
 
tired of using only three machines treadmill broke tv broke, joined planet fitness tonight will be my first night now i can incorporate free weights. got calorie counter for phone now also, very nice.
