12 cans ~ 1700 calories

aside from the obvious empty calorie surplus, yes, alcohol stunts testosterone production, stunts muscle growth and repair, stunts your immune system...

Frankly if you're drinking a half a case of beer a day, you have a problem and need help. That's not normal, casual beer drinking...its a chemical dependancy that's ruining your liver and general health.
 
Like everyone is saying, you have a problem if you drink that much every day. Don't think you can't be an alcoholic because you only drink 'beer'.

You will see much, much better results from training and supplements if you cut your beer intake right down to maybe once a week. Otherwise, I suspect you're wasting your time.
