Been lurking for a while

Hi guys, I have been reading this board for a long time now, maybe 4 months. Up until now I never really needed to ask any questions because you all answer them pretty well as well as my roomie. Since i have come around here for a while i have read pretty much everything you guys have written so here are my stats, here is my problem.

-5'7
-137 pounds
-22% BF
-28 yrs
-Female

My diet is clean. I get 6 meals a day. Protein/Carb with every meal. Good fats. I get within my range of calories to lose weight. Never go under in calories. I do cardio 5 or 6 days a week. Different types. I do weight training 3 times a week. I work in a car dealership inside the office alot but try to move when I get a chance. I have been working out now for about 4 months. The first week I lost 2 pounds. After that i lost about 3 pounds in 3 weeks. Since then i haven't lost any fat. I have changed up my routines, made sure my diet was clean and made sure i was getting the right stuff at the right times. I took a break, I increased my level of training. Increased calories. Basically I have tried everything i have seen mentioned on these boards and in other places to break through a fat loss plateau and its just not working. I have gained a little muscle but nothing great obviously because I am in a deficit. I love working out and will continue to so it regardless of if i lose more body fat or not. However i just would like for once in my life to get into a bathing suit or just see the reward of good healthy hard work.

Could it be any medical issue, isn't this a pretty long plateau? I would really love some advice, I really want to achieve a low body fat but in a healthy way. I just think 3 months with doing everything "right" but not seeing any change is strange.

How are you measuring your body fat, calipers, resistance or tape measurements? For someone 5'7" 137lbs sounds like a pretty good weight or at least a healthy weight. I know from tending toward Ectomorph myself that the last bit of body fat can be super difficult to get rid of. Myself, I have given up on it for now and am just calling this an involuntary bulking phase. (I am quitting tobacco and eating everything in sight.) :D

You also did not define what you are doing as far as strength training or cardio nor the intensity of these activities. Post some more information about your workouts, some body measurements, pics and a typical day's diet and I am sure if you do there are people here on the board that can help you with your quest.

First off, welcome.

Secondly are you just concerned with reducing your bf %? Have you noticed any results visually? Are you just going by the scale?
