Sport Bedtime Snack

Hey all,

Before I go to bed I eat some 0% fat greek yogurt. This question probably has been asked a few times but I have no luck finding a thread on this. What are some things that I could mix with greek yogurt before bed? I've been using 1 tsp of honey but it's probably not the best choice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think fruits are a good addition to your yogurt.
 
I also eat fruits to the yogurt and sometimes when I'm a bit more hungry I also eat crisp bread with a bit milk. Or I add an avocado.
 
Do you eat a bed time snack for any specific reason or just because you want a snack?

The reason I ask is because a lot of misinformed people who lift think that if they eat something (with protein) before they go to bed that it will help their muscles grow more than if they didn't. Now if you are meeting your daily dietary needs, a snack won't make a difference at all. Eating before you go to sleep isn't some magical steriod-ish secret that will make your muscles grow.

If you are just snacking to snack, then adding fruit to anything is always a good idea. It's not a snack for me, but I tend to have a Greek yogurt with my oats in the morning, but while it's fine in the morning, you may not want that many carbs at night.
