Hi Everyone
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
The reason I typed "weight loss forum" into google, which led me here is that I really do want to change my physique. By committing to a forum, and a group of like minded people I am making myself accountable. I will be active on this forum to help myself, and others achieve our goals together. I have tried lots of things in the past to lose weight, some of which worked short term and some didn't last a day.
Earlier this year I was diagnosed with a rare, yet very treatable form of cancer, for which I had removed a little over a month ago now. I am thankful and lucky (hence the name) to now say I am cured, and they managed to get rid of the nasty disease. However, whilst going through the most difficult and challenging time I have been through, it made me really appreciate life and appreciate the body I have, in terms of being relatively healthy, retrospectively. I am however, really overweight. This whole process I went through made me think and realise you only get one body, so why not make the most of it, and look after it better than I have been so far.
Previously I have completed workouts like Insanity, which was hard but gave me great results. After the 2 month programme the weight came back, and I am now large again. I want to be normal, to not have to be self conscious about how I look or what I wear.
I want to introduce myself so that I become part of this group of people and have to live up to my expectations for the body I want, and the lifestyle I want. Below are my current stats:
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Height: 6 foot 4
Weight: 19 stone (120kg)
Waist: 42"
Exercise levels: None (at the moment due to still recovering, usually squash twice a week)
Outlook on food: Love it - mainly the bad stuff, hence I am where I am
Commitment level: More committed than you could imagine - I have a personality that once I get my mind set on something, I WILL achieve it
I appreciate you reading my story, and hope to get to know you all over the coming weeks / months
Thanks
Jam
