AEvening all!

I was hoping to get some help on what to eat and what to avoid just after exercise.

I cycle a 50min route at mid-high intensity 4 times a week and do a 40mile route once a week. I've heard many mixed opinions on what to eat after both routes. Any suggestions? Aim is weight loss.

Thanks for any help,
Sam

Eat whatever you want. Your metabolism is raised after exercise and people want to take advantage of this free 'fat burning' time and won't eat. It is up to you what you do. I personally tell all my clients to just eat after exercise if you are hungry. They are all still losing weight. There is no trick to lose fat faster. Just stick to what your body needs. If you don't know, look it up.

You'll want to consume primarily carbs, but don't ignore protein. You should NOT be eating fat. and don't forget water. :seeya:

Can you explain a bit more about what you mean by this? A balanced diet includes carbs, protein, AND fat. Attempting to completely cut out one of these macronutrients is dangerous.

Creating a exercise requires quality carbohydrate food, lean proteins, heart-healthy fats, and liquids. Your muscle tissue rely on carbohydrate meals like bread, cereals, grain, grain, fruits, and vegetables for a quick power source. Amino acids is needed to build and maintain muscle tissue and for healthier blood vessels tissues. Blood tissues deliver nutrients and oxygen to working muscle tissue.
Foods offer the gas to the body engine, and liquids offer the water to your body rad. Without these crucial fuels and liquids, your body will have difficulties performing at its best.
