After just a week of my new diet, I went to go have my cheat meal... I chose McDonald's quarter pounder with cheese meal because that's what I'd been thinking about all week (probably because I used to eat a lot of them). I never realized how aweful that stuff was for you until yesterday. Everything, the fries, the burgur, all tasted like a block of salt. There was no way I could even eat half of it, and even still I wanted to hurl. Anyway, I'm just ranting on here. Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

Im dieting with a slight calorie deficit and only eat good food, but once a week I have a day when I can eat anything I want, and its always always an anticlimax. During the week I urge for that bag of chips, pizza and candy.. but when its finally that day of the week and I stuff myself with that stuff I always end up feeling really ****ty and it doesnt even taste good. But the next week I'll have the same urge for it again lawl. Give it a couple of days and I bet you'll drool for a burger again ;)

If I'm gonna waste a cheat meal on a burger, I'd go to a diner and get a real one , not a plastic one from Mc Dicks

Agreed bud. I went to a local place yesterday called Max and Ermas and had a 10oz hamburger cooked medium with bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce and onions. It was incredible...LOL The best thing about it, I got up this AM and I had still lost weight and BF for the week. You got to love cheat meals. :D

I just have one or possibly 2 meals per week, usually Saturday. It has been working well for me, as long as I stick to them 2 meals and not get carried away. I got a wedding next Saturday night, so that should be interesting...LOL

i can get away with calling you piggy ;) but mostly i do it cuz im jealous of your caloric intake...though i dont think id have the dedication to eat that much food...cleanly...now give me some chocolate chip cookies or banana bread or something homemade with some milk and id be in heaven lol...but thats a different story :)

That is where I try to stay strong...LOL My 6 year old has so many goodies laying around the house and he is always asking me to have a snack with him..LOL He asks me every day "Dad, is today your cheat day? Because I got some new snacks I want you to try."....LOL So I know what you mean with the junkfood. You are talking to a former 1 large bag of chips a night junkie. :D

Hey, burgers aren't even that bad for you if you use the right meat and cooking method, granted you don't have **** like mayo and ranch in there. And it still tastes great. I love eating burgers and do so whenever I have the urge... but then again, I'm not cutting :)

Yeah, my burgers are great for you. I either use buffalo meat or 97% lean ground beef. Put it on a sprouted bun with a little bit of organic ketchup and you've got a good healthy meal :)

I try to keep things under check all week, and by the time the weekend arrives, I'm ready to crush on some coneys or pizza, it definitely helps to keep me sane. And it makes me feel a little guilty, but once I get right back on track, I feel great.
