hey guys, how do i get a pic on my avatar?

Ive got a pic i wanna put on but i says its too big.
so i opened it up on paint, and kept making it smaller and smaller untill it said, hey no jpegs.

so what do i do?

PSP is a great photo editing program.
 
Use MS paint my friend.

It should work on MS paint.

Go to "sketch/skew" option in one of the tabs and make the adjustments there.
 
Yes gif files can be resized, but you have to have a program that will support it... Because all a gif is, is a slide show... it has so many frames, and then repeats... I know macromedia has a good program as well as ImageReady by Adobe...
 
Right, You need some fancy software to resize GIFs I guess. I can't get MS paint to do it ....even if I save it as GIF of course.
 
The Gimp is completely free and VERY good considering. I have Linux, so that's what I use.

Make sure you download the required things as well and the Windows version if you use Windows...
 
I have all the programs that I 'borrowed' from work, so just send me the file and I'll be more than happy to do it for ya... :)
