Weight-Loss Ate a large pizza and cheesecake and still same weight!

Weight-Loss
Okay, I devised a plan because I always cheat on weekends, downfall being afterward I normally put on an inch or two on the waist.

But yesterday I made up a calorie plan of 1200 (Starvation levels) and ate 4 meals from that.

On the 5th meal I had the large pizza and cheesecake with cream. Yummy.

And today I woke to find I am still 10 stone on the scales and a 36 inch waist!!

No change at all. Normally, I go up both in waist and on the scales but my plan worked!

I am on the zigzag method as well so today it's back to safe level calorie intake.

I'm not sure if this would work for everyone but if you really plan to have a sizeable treat then try what I did.

Btw, it's a pain in the butt to try and lose the last two inches...I really want to get down to a 34 and it's a bit of a struggle!

The ENTIRE large pizza? That's not cheating a little, that's pure gluttony.

Lol wow you are 1 of the lucky ones because I just gained
2lbs just reading what you ate lol!:p Tammy

Your body won't necessarily put on the weight the instant you eat something like that (except maybe water weight from the sodium if you are prone to such things). It generally takes a bit to kick in, so you aren't necessarily off the hook completely. Also, it doesn't have to happen from one meal, but a pattern of meals like that.

It doesn't add up over night, that's why you can't lose it overnight, but keep eating like that and before you know it, you will see the gains.

Anyone for a little..er, huge binge?

c'mon now, don't make us slap you out of it! There's nothing healthy about your pizza adventure.

I should probably be the last person to give advice but here are my 2 cents ...
- 1200 should not be considered Starvation level
- when you know you will cheat on your diet and want pizza eat 1 slice

ok i'm done judging now, sorry

Well, the body normally doesn't gain weight instantly after over-eating (as I see many posters also lectured you about here).

My first year of college I was just eating whatever and didn't gain a pound... then over the summer after that, while eating healthy and walking miles every day(was part of the summer job I had), I gained 10 pounds in 2 months.

I knew that the weight gain was tied to 8 months of unhealthy eating and am still kicking myself for that.

So sure, you may weigh the same after a night of binging, and you may even weigh the same a week after that... but eating a large pizza and a cheesecake once a week every week, well that will definitely catch up to you. Sorry to sound like a debbie-downer! But like someone else noted on here- 1200 calories isn't starvation and you might consider having 2-3 slices of pizza as a "wild pizza night."
