At the risk of sounding cliche...HELP!!

Hi everyone. I'm new and i'm excited to be here.... :D

Okay so, i'm 21 (5'6 and 150 lbs) and I live in southern california and summer is coming up and as you all know, they already have the swimsuits at the front of the stores (pure torture in itself) and since I haven't worn a bikini since I was...maybe 11 years old, I'm dying to lose my belly (and lovehandles) before summer...before April actually if I can...

I exercise (at home) everyday and i've gotten the rest of my body in shape--AWESOME shoulders, AWESOME legs, ALRIGHT arms..everything's good cept my belly, It WILL NOT GO AWAY!!! (love these smileys)

So i'm just looking for someone to help me... PLEASE tell me what im doing wrong. I'm doin everything at home cause I don't have time for a gym annnnnnd I don't have enough money to eat healthy all the time...I "sorta" have a six-pack when I hold in my stomach but i'm ready to get more serious...just please someone tell me how.

Love,
Hopeful

This is your next step, you cant eat crap and expect great results, most of all a six pack. It is actually cheaper to eat healthy. Goto the supermarket, its much cheaper to get food there then at a restaraunt or fast food joint.

I would get some ab workout DVDs. My favorite is Dennise Austin's Pilates for Abs. It's a great ab workout, I've been doing it for a couple weeks and I can still only get through the first 10 minutes. I like this tape because you don't need anything for it, maybe a matt, but even that if you have carpet you won't need it.

thanks guys (guy/girl)..

I think it took someone saying..."you can't eat crap and still expect to see results." I thought of how much crap I ate yesterday...and I'm almost depressed about it but i'm willing to go healthy-wholeheart now...

And the denise austin's a great idea. I used to watch her in the mornings (that was for my arms) and it worked sooooo yeah, i'll be buying the video soon.

Signing up at that website (100% free) can help immensely. It's basically a diet journal. Allows you to easily count calories for each day.

It has a database of foods and the calorie/nutritional content of them so you can just search for what you ate and add it. Takes no time at all.

Most people have no idea how many calories they actually burn each day or how many they are eating. The site will give you a rough estimate of how many calories you burn each day. (Exercise counts for less calories than you might think, unless you exercise all day long.)

Lifting weights is more helpful while dieting than cardio. It's helps to prevent muscle loss...make sure you still have an ass and abs after the fat isn't covering them anymore. :)
