hello
im sorry to bother you all
Im 24, i struggle with GAD (anxiety) i used to take meds for it, i came off them a year ago and cope by myself.
Although i cope, i still get very anxious and this time im anxious that i may have artery narrowing or angina because im so overweight. Im only 24 years old and i know this sounds stupid but i just need someone who knows more than me to tell me that this only happens over many years of very bad diet. My grandfather has angina and it scared me.
i did my saturated fat age - its 25 which is good. I havent eaten red meat (or pork) for 15 years, i dont smoke, i rarely eat fried foods or takeaways - once a fortnight at the most. i dont eat any pastries etc i just am so paranoid.

Any info would be appreciated
thanks.

No one on this forum can tell you that information. You need to go to a doctor and express your worries. They can take blood and give you your lipid profile to tell you what levels of fats you have in your blood.

The very very very strong likelihood is that you do not have atherosclerosis (the medical term for thickening of your arteries with fat) but if you are worried you should see your doctor to allay your fears.

And if you're worried about your future health - make sure to improve your diet and, if you're a smoker, quit smoking (cannot stress that one enough) to reduce other risk factors.
