WELL....I'm pumped, I'm ready, I can visualize the size 6 (or 8) that is SO going to fit by the time I reach my goal weight!
My stats:
1) Started at 180 lbs

2) Lost a lot, got down to 140 lbs

3) Gained some back, now back to 160 lbs :(

4) I'm 5'3 size 14


My goals:
1) I want to be between 115-120 lbs, so I've got about 40-45 lbs
to lose.

2) I want to do this in a year (but I want to lose 25-30 lbs by
September, because I'm headed to a new school, and want to
look like a new person!). I think this goal is realistic, seeing as I
am only wanting to lose 40. That's about, 3 lbs a month. My
short term goal of 25 in 5 months doesn't seem as atainable, but
I can do it.

My plans:
1) I don't have a specific food plan picked out yet, at first, I'm just
going to eat 1200 calories a day.

2) My exercise plans are easier. I have a treadmill right in front of
my T.V., so exercise is a check. I think I'm just going to do 45
minutes a day for 4 days out of the week, and an hour for 3 days
out of the week. I figure with each 5 lbs I lose, I can up the
time. As for working out the rest of my body, I have a couple of
different work out videos I can switch up. I don't want to start
lifting weights until I've lost a lot, because I don't want to bulk
up. I want to look lean, not beefy.

I don't think I left anything out, except can anyone tell me how to add the weight ticker? I've got it made and everything, I just need to know how to make it appear on here. Thanks in advance for whoever tells me!
 

Add it to your signature in your CP. Can't wait to see you start losing - keep that size 8 in sight... that's what keeps me going. I love treadmill workouts too I think they're so easy and so effective! You should try interval training - walk 2 minutes, run 2 minutes, walk 2 minutes, run to minutes, apparently that's the best for fat burning - its worked for me I've lots 14 pounds since I started just over 2 weeks ago! And eat lots of fruit and protein! You'll do awesome. Cheers!
 
Hi there! Welcome & glad to see you've got a diary up. Elizabeth is a wiz at the exercise, I like her interval plan. You can do it, just be realistic and you'll make steady progress! Go for it!
 
Ok so I'm stupid, but I can't figure out how the ticker gets on there. I pasted it onto my signature, previewed it, and saw that it's still just the code. Well, I tried wrapping the html whatever around it, and it's still just the code. I'm probably making this harder than it is, and sorry to ask again.
 
Conquered!

So I'm on my way to a certain fast-food establishment, when I realize, wait, I don't even want this food! So I turn the car around, go home, and eat an apple. Day 1 of my diet is already hard, and It's not even the middle of the day yet. ahhhhhhhhhh.
 
Drink tons of water! Like atleast 8 big glasses a day. And I drink a glass of V8 with hot spices in it around 3 - 4 because it suppresses my appetite and I don't eat so much later on.. it really helps me stay within my calorie range.

hi, am new here but about the same, 150lbs want to be 30lbs lighter by September. It all just seems to be taking sooo much effort and soo long! Have been following principles of Scarsdale Medical Diet, but had NO W/L last month although I can get into a UK 14 now (US 12?). Am I building muscle or what? Exercise between 3-5 per week.

Congrats so far on your loss. You have the right metallity. SO, keep it up girl. You'll get ther in no time.
