Was just wondering this - I can say for myself I've definitely become more interested in food... the taste, enjoyment, sharing, nutrition, preparation etc of it since I started a healthier lifestyle. Was wondering about others' experiences.

Yes/No didn't make sense for you Q lol... I fixed it.

Well I voted less, and here's why:

I definately analyze food more and spend a lot of time making sure i'm within my calories and putting everything in fitday...BUT before I used to rely on food more for pleasure, even if I didn't realize it. Everything I ate was about how it would make me feel rather than if it was healthy or not. So in a way I'm less foodie cause I don't let my emotions control or let it control my emotions :)

1. whats a foodie?

2. I like the thread with boobs in it.

1. A foodie is someone who appreciates good food, good restaurants, etc... sometimes referred to as "gourmets". The opposite of a foodie would be someone who thinks Mickey D's 3 times a day is a treat...

2. I LOL'ed in the office, and looked foolish...

i think yes and no...when i eat something "bad" or eat my cheat meal, after eating clean for a while it tastes soo much better than it did before. but when it somes to everyday i would say no because i think you can be alot more creative when you dont worry about what it is. for me atleast...

I have certainly become a foodie. My diet consisted of hamburgers and fries before. you couldn't get me to not only eat healthy but venture out into other cultures of food and so forth and actually enjoy it. Now I have more spices and veggies in my fridge then I know what to do with. I love eating now more than ever because of expanding my palate. The better of a cook i become the better my food tastes. I can make a killer, colorful and satisfying full corse meal within my calorie range. I also do a sunday cooking for people I am helping train right now and they just love it and get alot of ideas about how to cook healthy but yummy. So total foodie here.

I would say yes, I really ate like 2 small meals a day, and I just didn't enjoy eating at all. Now eating is a lot bigger thing, I spice it up how I want, make it taste just right and down it. :D

I couldn't agree more. It's unfortunate, but its the case for me. When I ate lots of bad shtuff, it was always cause I WANTED it, and enjoyed it. I still enjoy foods, but if I think about what I WANT too much, it's usually bad things...
