shredded cheddar cheese(does this have good fats or normal?)

salad dressing

yogurt(too high in sugar?40g per 8oz)

90-10 ground beef

Multi-grain bread (should i just stick to 100% whole grain?)

fat free cheese(do they put wierd stuff in this?)

canola oil

that it.

btw: does all the fat from pnuts, sunflower seeds ect come from poly and monoun? does eggs have good fats or normal fats?

my mom tells me not to eat raw eggs(i make a protein mixture w/eggs) b/c i can get extremely sick and die (lol?) should i?

thanks a lot

cheese in light moderation..mostly saturated fat
grd beef, sure, just not too often (not daily or several times a day, unless yer in a pinch for food)
fat free cheese, reasonably ok, but its kinda bland rubbery stuff.
bread - try to get 2g of fiber per slice, low sugar/sodium.
yogurt - look for fat free, sugar free stuff, or just be moderate about it.
salad dressing - if you like italian, I'd make your own with olive oil and vinegar, and a seasoning packet from the grocery store.
canola oil is fine, as is peanut oil and olive oil...but remember they are still fats and should be counted.

egg yolks have saturated and unsaturated fats, and yes raw eggs can contain salmonella, which'll make you sick as a dog. plus, cooking eggs makes the protein MORE available to the body...so cook em.
