Sport Are soups healthy?

Sport Fitness
I'm looking for some soups that are healthy so when I'm at work and busy and don't have time to eat I can drink a soup. How about if I shred some chicken and make a chicken soup? Similiar to chineese corn soup? Anybody have any recipes?

This is my favorite soup with shredded chicken.

2 cans tomato soup
2 cans chicken broth
1 cup shredded chicken

Chili powder
garlic powder

(thats like 8 servings, don't eat it all at once)

Sodium on some tomato soup is high, find a good low sodium can. Otherwise it is pretty clean. This is about as fast/basic as I can get.

tastes good, cheap, easy to make

No one serving is not a meal,(i use it as a side) I would not eat only soup for a meal. But if you wanted to make a meal out of it I would bump up the servings, and bump up the chicken.

For you at work, if you need a fast lunch and need to go with soup you can piece it how you want. Like I said throw some more chicken in there, sometimes I put some broccoli in there (the top part), That would make it pretty balanced for a quick meal.

Maybe you could make a chicken soup that you can bring to work.
Try..
chicken (obviously)
low sodium broth/or the stock from boiling the chicken
carrots
celery
onion
potato (just enough for some bulk), or some whole wheat bowtie pasta

season to taste with salt free seasonings

You can make a pot, divide it up, and freeze for convenience

Soup really isnt a great food to be eatting.
Its just flavoured water.
You might say "well not if you add carrots and broccoli etc..."

well why not just eat the carrots and broccoli?

Stick to whole foods.

I love Po Tak soup. It's a spicy thai seaford soup loaded with shrimp, clams, catfish, squid, mushrooms, onions, and lemongrass.

I have no idea if it's healthy or not, but I feel quite satisfied after I gorge myself on that stuff.

sounds good. If your gonna have soup, it may as well have lots of meat in it.
But look out, they use a lot of coconut milk which bumps up the fat content.
