I had a hot dog problem, being that i loved me some hot dogs before i decided to chuck them due to just how well disgusting they are.

My solution for hot dog cravings was Smart Dogs. You can find them in almost any grocery store in the vegetarian/tofu section usually. Its a soy dog flavored to be a hot dog with great stats.
Calories 45

Protein 9g

Now does it taste like crap? Meh if you just throw it in the microwave it doesn't taste that great. But if you put it in a frying pan with some tabasco, worchester and water and cook it till it bubble browns a little and throw whatever you usually eat on a hot dog on it...well then it can be damn tasty. I eat it on a whole wheat lite bun with my homemade chili myself.

ha i know! Just saying if it is a hot dog type item he graves or desires there is a healthy way to go about it....asshats:D

Just like anything else, if a hot dog is what you really enjoy. Eat one once in a while. Not every day or every other day. But if you want a hot dog once a week, have at it. If you deprive yourself of what you really enjoy and crave, you'll eventually crash. I learned that time and time again.

Try the Oscar Mayer Fat Free hot dogs.
They're pretty good.
The worst part about them is the Sodium.

Here's the stats on them. I can think of a lot worse you can do for yourself.
