Hey everyone,
I am new to this forum. I hope to learn alot from each and every person here. I only have 10 pounds to lose but i hear the less weight you have to lose the harder it is. I do have one question though. Are energy drinks bad for you if you are trying to lose weight? i started working out and eating healthy and i lost about 1-2 lbs per week for 3 wks, then the 4th week i started drinking a Monster energy drink per day just to keep me going, but i noticed i havent lost any weight for the past week and a half since i started drinking them. Could this be the reason for not losing the weight?

I don't know for sure. But I was doing the same thing awhile back. and I wasn't losing either. So I switched to the diet or sugar free energy drinks, and I am doing alot better now. Remember all that "energy" is SUGAR. But the diet or SF ones seem allllmmmosst as good!

i'm not sure that 1 drink a day would be enough to kill your weight loss, though. However, one thing to note. When you exercise, not all the weight you lose is during the exercises ... a lot of it is after. But, if you have a sugar type meal right after your workout, this will effectively stop the continued calorie burning process.
