Well....it's time to take my $150 triathlon suit and put it in the trash. Even though I rinse after each swim in the gym's pool.....it's finally delaminating or decaying. Rinsing helps, but being in the pool for 1.5-2.25 hours is still exposure.
Why do I wear the tri-suit in the pool? Cause I like to track my heart-rate & calories burned and the chest-strap won't stay on without my chest being covered AND the suit gives me a place to stash my underwater ipod player. I suppose I'll have to figure something else out.
Just the same...has anyone heard of any product that can be applied to a bathing suit to make it more resistant to chlorine decay? I know they have stuff that makes clothing more water resistant, would that stuff also help seal and protect lycra/nylon?? Anything????![Confused  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
