Anyone used to own a playstation?

Heya did any1 once own a playstation, i did and i miss it, the games were well fun, im trying to download some similir on my pc

Yea, I have the PS2 and the original playstation. With well over 100 games for the original, I still play it a lot. It helps when you know how to hack them :D
 
In highschool I bought a stolen ps1 for $60. Played Metal Gear Solid about 5-10 times and then traded it for a speaker box. I never had time to play and sometimes played Madden on my friends.

The only real time I played ps1 in high school was a few days before I left for the Air Force I beat Resident Evil. I just couldnt stop playing.

However when I was in junior high and ps1 had just came out, we used to rent one and get a basketball game to play. My friend and I would be the hornets and he would control Larry Johnson and I would use Alonzo Mourning and we would dominate.
 
kool sounds like a lot of fun. i used to have about 20 games for the playstation i think lol. im thinking of downloading some games for my pc n getting a usb gamepad controller for it, what do u reckon? think i should??

I have two of those old junky ps1's and also a slim one, plus two ps2's. Hah, yeah I like games :jump1:

What kind of "similar games" are you thinking of downloading jackie?;)

iused to have one of those chunky ps1s haha

Im thinking of downloading crash bandicoot, driver(any)- ones i have played b4

and any others that look good that will play on my computer, which isnt old, and ive got a graphics card but i dunno how good it is, i brought it for about £35 about 6 months ago

I have a playstation controller to USB adapter, it works great for a lot of things.

How are you going to play the games on your PC?
 
you said you wanted to play the games on your PC. Did they make PC versions of crash bandicoot, driver, etc? I wasn't aware of that.

I know theres a pc version of at least one of the driver games.

I didnt know crash bandicoot werent on pc. im downloading the ps version now, n then im gonna try n play it with an emulator.

I just found a site that contains the 'Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy' game from 1984. It has no graphics and no sound - like all the best games

If anyone's interested then I'll post the link for you
 
In the box near the bottom type the code 851108 to enter the game.

If you're too young to remember these games you're in for a shock. They're so addictive though
 
I remember that. Growing up, I was always behind my friends in electronics, but I still had more fun. They were getting Nintendos and I was playing Oregon Trail and Jungle Hunt on my Apple II.

Man, I can get real nostalgic thinking about those times...

Anyways, I have a PS2, just played God of War, it was awesome. I want a PS3 so I can play Grand Theft Auto 4, staged in NYC, but damn those mofos are expensive...and I'm a poor college bum.
 
I used to have a ps1.. but it never got played.. just collected dust, so i sold it.

my lil bro is 9 and has a ps1, ps2, game cube, wii, gb advance and is getting a psp for christmas.. oh.. and 3 different tv's to play the consoles on..... spoiled brat lol

God of war was a really sweet game. God of War 2 is just as good as the first too.

I am also really looking forward to grand theft auto 4, I don't have a ps3 though... (I'll probably get one in like 2015, I'm usually behind the times... heh.)

I have all of the grand theft auto games on the ps2 though :p
