Anyone see "I eat 33,000 calories?

Ok my aunt was telling me that on TLC they had 4 people on there very obese and 1 ate 33,000 a day and they were on the rate of gaining 9 lbs a day.
OK How in the world even if you are the biggest person on earth can eat so many calories in a 24 hour period?
Here is my little question to you's how many calories being a guestmated guess did you think the most in one day before you found your healthy way of eating?
I figured my out to eat meals would be between 1100-1500
then pizza I would have 4-5 slices so thats 1000-1200
meals at home made from scratch I would have 2nds so 750x2
then all day snacking of course example candy bar is around 250
I could eat 2-3 (not at once)or oreos 1/2 pk so we'll say about
700 in snacks
so in 1 BAD ALL I CAN EAT DAY I WOULD SAY 5,000 so thats no
where near 33,000 :svengo:

Nothing else to do. :) Once you're bedbound, there's really not much to do other than sit and eat.

Denny's Fabulous French Toast Platter (3 pieces of french toast, no fruit / syrup / margarine) = 1,261 calories. 87 for a ball of margarine, 143 for 3 tablespoons of "maple flavored syrup". Total = 1,491

Romano's Macaroni Grill. Split an order of calamari (1000 cals per order), Twice Baked Lasagna with Meatballs (1360), split a Smothered Chocolate Cake (1450 per order). Total calories for one meal = 2,585.

Papa John's Large Original Crust Hawaiian BBQ Chicken pizza, 340 calories per slice times 5 = 1,700

One Oreo = 55 calories. 51 cookies in a pack. 25 cookies = 1,375 calories.

so in 1 BAD ALL I CAN EAT DAY I WOULD SAY 5,000 so thats no where near 33,000 :svengo:

Ah, but you see, I came up with more than 7,000 calories in 3 meals and a snack, without having seconds and with sharing extras with someone else. And 6 months ago, weighing under 200 pounds, I could have eaten that much food. Doesn't surprise me that someone who weighed 5 times as much could eat 5 times as much, particularly if there were nothing better to do.
 
I would say the most I ever ate in a day was probably about 15k calories. I went to an all you can eat chinese and I ate slowly and contantly for hours and hours with my friends. They stopped taking our plates away and we had to change tables. We were 3 people and we probably ate about 10 plates full of food each. At the time I was an athletic teenager so I didn't really gain much weight, if I did I probably burnt it off in less then a week.

I was even guEsssing higher than I thought it would be and wow those are some HIGH calorie meals and cookies.Stilll 33,000 is alot of calories they are suppose to reair the show I caught the end of it but being curious I musy catch it when it's on.
BIGREEN yeah the all you can eat bars are loaded with cals and I usually have carbs with a side of cabs xtra carbs and 2nd and 3rds carbs as in mash taters,mac and cheese,dinner rolls honey butter grrr.
 
Damn athletic teenagers. I teach highschool and those skinny bastards eat whatever they want;) lol
I think I am with Tammy. I remember putting a day of food in for me and I was around 5,000 a day. Just crap too and eating out is so dangerous. At Chili's nothing except the diet plates is below 1,000 calories! I think the awsome blossom thing was like 3,000 calories!!! crazy!
I think I have seen that TLC show. It really shows how bad things can get. It's an addiction. One girl died from heart failure at 26... can't remember how much she weighed:( still the others in the center were sneaking food in from delivery places. It was really sad to watch them self sabatouge and the excuses/reasons they gave for doing what they did were VERY similar to the ones I give myself. One of the ones I remember were about his wifes cooking being so much better... of course cause it was deep fried and pletiful compared to their strict diets.
It's just a small step from what I was doing to what they were doing. Wonder where the addiction comes from? Hard to believe it's genetic. What makes it possible to cross that line to where you can't/don't control the amount of food you eat until you are bedridden!!!?
 
hmmm large bag of cashews oughtta do about 2k :D
KFC, thats about 450 cals for a large piece and i swear i used to eat 3-5 pieces of chicken a meal. Plus a large chips which has to be about another 400-500.

When I was at my peak in college, I would lift in the morning before breakfast (the trainers made us come in then... satanists), drink two gatorade meal replacement shakes (delicious), eat 2 chicken breast footlongs from subway, go to class, eat 2-3 PBJs, have a 2 hour boxing practice, another two hour practice for a different sport, then I'd eat something along the lines of a 12 piece fried chicken bucket, or a whole papa johns meat pizza, then maybe another full meal at midnight. That was a normal day. I don't even want to list out / calculate what the bad days were.

Edit: Just listing all of that made my stomach turn thinking about all of that garbage I used to dump into my system.

I used to eat normally. Or not enough...... until it came to sweets. Sweets are my weakness. My family would buy a dozen donuts... and I used to eat nearly the entire box throughout the day. Or birthday cakes... let's just say they wouldn't stay in the house too long. Also fast food. Bacon burgers and milkshakes.
 
omg i thought they were showing a naked woman on that! that dude had HUGE boobs! :O
heck those would have to be at least a DD or more.
