Anyone on Athkins??

I started the Atkins today. spontaneity Hit me today and I decided to start the Athkins diet. I was dieting before this but wasnt on a paticular diet. I Just cut out junk but was still eating carbs. I think thats what the problem was. I was drinking my smoothie at 7 and at 10 I was starving. eat at 10 then starving at 12 and so on. but today I had turkey sausage and 2 eggs at 8 and was full till about 1 and wasnt starving.for lunch I had turkey lunch meat shreaded cheese romain lettuce and turkey pepperoni on a low carb wrap and im still going strong. no hunger!! no cravings for sugar. Im liking it so far. I hope it works!!

Anyone else on the Atkins??

I found it hard to lose weight eating red meat. I switched to low fat meats like poultry (chicken & turkey), and fish. The lbs started falling off like I couldn't believe. And also, eating only meats malnourishes you of things like fiber and nutrients that only vegetables can provide. Low carb is great, and low calorie is better... but a balanced diet, is best!
