Anyone know of any good weight loss apps?

Looking for something I can use on my phone, since it seems to be in my hand 10 hours a day. Something I can keep track of my calories on, and maybe track my progress? I've been looking around and there seems to be a lot to choose from.

I use my fitness pal, it's really easy to use x

Thanks guys. I've downloaded My fitness pal, as well as an app called Arise. I'm going to be checking them both out. This calorie counting is a real pain in the rear. I'm finding it's easier to just go out to eat since most restaurants post their meals and calories on line. Trying to cook at home, and counting calories, is starting to become a real chore.

There is an app called 'Lose It!' that's designed for smartphones.

As far as I know(haven't used it myself), it's free but you need to register in order to download it.

Thanks athala. I've downloaded a couple and am in the process of evaluating them. I'll check that one out also. It's kinda of cool using these apps and charting your progress.

Yea, I'm kind of digging this Arise app better though. I can chart my food and exercise, and I even received a challenge from another user. Kind of cool.

I'm not sure but I use Runkeeper. It helps me lose weight in the sense of monitoring how much calorie I lose when running or doing other workout. So, this app is like a trainer who encourages me to go for more. There's this one time when after I ran for 9.35 miles (burned about 335cal), I stopped by a convenience store and was about to buy an iced tea but when I checked the total calorie for the whole bottle of iced tea, I was shocked that it has about 150cal. See the logic here, for that 9.35 miles run, I only burned 335cal. So, I will not waste a tiresome 9.35 miles/burned 335cal, for a bottle of iced tea with 150cal in it. I never knew about calorie counting before, but when I started to use Runkeeper, I am aware now and conscious about how much calorie I took.

My fitness pal is a great one. I agree with the others who recommended it. Some other good ones are LoseIt, SparkPeople, and CRON-O-Meter.
