Hi all,
As I am stuck inside with snow outside and no treadmill or eliptical I was wondering if anyone knew a good workout that would keep my heart rate up and be a good indoor minimal equipment workout.... I also have some 5lb and 10lb weights but I did weight lifting yesterday!!
Thanks!

Welp, no equipment is a little tricky, for me, because it seems like you have to pay more attention, but try jogging in place, jumping rope or doing some jumping jacks? Anything of that nature, I imagine. Shadow boxing? Pacing back and forth quickly would probably do just fine, and not require a whole lot of attention or be too hard on the old joints. There's a guy on the fitness forums who does a couple hours of that sort of thing most nights.

All of the above can be done while watching tv/movies/whatever to take the edge off the boredom, if necessary.

when I want to do cardio at home, sometimes I listen to my MP3 player and dance like a video vixen!!! LOL, it's fun and a really high energy workout for me.

Yeah this is fun to do and behind closed doors you can get down right CRAZY lol I also run in place in between dancing throw in some jumping jacks and bammm outta breath lmao!

You can try dvd's I'd do those for awhile until it gets warm out. Or I'm a big fan of the digital cable free excercise tv workouts if your cable company provides this.
