Weight-Loss Anyone interested in a short competition??

I'm pretty competative, so I'm interested in startin a challenge! I know in the past these challenges fizzle out after a few wks, so I wanna keep it short, maybe 3 wks long, thats it. I personally will mail a prize to the winner of the challenge. THis is not pound for pound, but % of weight lost.

I'm thinking about starting it on the 1st...anyone interested???
 
I'd be down....had to drop out of the last one due to hip surgery....which has made me put on a good amount of wt, so will be good for me. I def. agree with a short challenge, though I think doing those mini challenges is a great idea as a bonus!
 
yahhh i would tototally love to do a challenge...
ive been a bit bleh lately and this is just the pick me up i need =D
 
I'm in for sure. I fell off the eating sensibly wagon a couple weeks ago so havn't been on the site. I'm still not sure what my problem is but I have a severe binge eating problem and if it were up to me I'd eat a box of cookies, several chocolate bars and pizza every day. I find competition helps to motivate me but I don't have any friends I can set something up with right now so I'm glad I came across this. I'm not interested in any prize but if I know I have to show up here and update on progress I'm hopefully less tempted to screw up. so what day are we going until??
 
what if you are a dude? i know we lose weight but we gain more mass usually. i have that nasty gene where i can pack on muscle in no time.

so how would percentage of weight lost work that scenario?
 
^^; Gaining muscle while loosing weight and being in calorie deficit isn't common.. but in any case, how about measure body fat before and after? or measurements?
 
I want to do it too, even though its a little late. I weighed in at 132.5 this morning. So 3 weeks would be the 22nd, Wednesday, right? Whats the prize? I wanna win it.
