Anyone got any ideas?

Hey guys,

I thought i should ask all my fellow weight loss friends for some ideas on what to do... this isn't weight loss related... although it could be i guess. haha anyways...

I've just finished uni about a couple of months ago and am working three part time jobs now to gain as much money as possible so that i can go travelling in Jan and onwards. My younger sister and i were thinking of going to America for a bit... to work out there and live for a few months... we have family and friends who live in South Carolina so were thinking of seeing them for a bit of a holiday before setteling in. (this all depends on if i can get a working visa for a couple of months... not being a student anymore it a little more diffcult for me.) Probably would go to Myrtle Beach... as i know its a very touristy area and could hopefully find a couple of part time jobs or something. *shrug*

Anyways...im completely going off topic... well almost. After the trip to America i was hopeing to come home for a couple of months and then do a round the world trip.. like go see Australia, new zeland etc while i still have the chance..

However.. they suggest that you have at least 5000 pounds saved up... if i continue to save while im working im only going to get maybe a 1000 and some of that is going to go to the trip to America. (damn tax is taking it away.) So.. do any of you guys have any idea how i can earn/make the last 4000 odd grand that i need to go travelling... which doesn't involve prostitution or drug selling. :p
 
No ideas on how to raise money, but don't think of this as your only chance to see the world - I didn't get to australia til I was 35 - I was 33 when I got to paris - I haven't been to greece yet, but I intend to...

You have the rest of your life to travel and see the world...
 
I have one problem solved for you. You won't need a working visa as long as you say your here illegally from Mexico. So brush up on your Spanish.

Ithink you can get health benefits and a driver's lisence that way too...

haha troutman... thanks but my spanish is rubbish so don't think thats a good idea. I'm trying to get into the country legally without having any possibility of fraud. :p

What kind of fundraising tho?
 
ha! I'm doing three part time jobs at the moment and putting practically everything that i earn into savings. I haven't spent anything on myself for ages! :(

I'm doomed aren't i? lol
