Anyone got an iPhone??? Got any good recipe/training apps???

Well, I was having so much fun with my iPod Touch, and as my luck would have it, my old phone went on the fritz, and AT&T basically sent me a refund and told me to get a new phone, so I got the new iPhone 3GS 32GB.

I have to say I LOVE this thing. I can use it for *everything* well almost :D

So I wanted to ask....

Does anyone have one and what apps do you use for health and fitness? I have "Lose it", and "Nike Training for Women" so far. Lose it can use a *lot* of work, but if you know what your caloric intake should be (and you can adjust this somewhat) it is a good way to gauge what you are eating weekly, and you can input exercises as well. I like that it gives you the ability to "create" your own foods (which basically means, anything they don't already have on their list, you can add- same with the exercises)

On the Nike training you can create a workout routine and follow your progress.

So has anyone found any other apps that they think are really great for working out or for watching your caloric intake?

Oh, I also have a few great food programs that I refer to sometimes:

Whole foods recipes (natural and organic foods)
Yum yum (has vegan food recipes)
All recipes (mostly for the kids and when I'm stumped what to make them, but also I sometimes alter the recipe to make it healthier)

They have the "Couch to 5k" app on there, and a few others. So....do you use any and which ones do you like?

I've got the 3GS too. Haven't really used any of the fitness app's but I did download the BMI app. I'd like to start using the video to tape my deadlifts just to check out my form instead of peeking in the mirror from the side which is what I'm doing now. lol

I just got runkeeper pro for mine and am pretty happy with it. I chose it over the others available because it has audio alerts you can set up at intervals to speed up, slow down. It also plots out where you ran on google maps and gives some stats on speed etc. I would have liked it to give audio alerts at specified intervals to tell the time or distance but sadly it doesn't.

Now if only there was an app that could run for me...

lol, now that's an idea! :D

We also lack mirror in our little gym. Just got a full length one, and basically it sucks....lol Plans are to mirror one wall (opposite the equipment and window) and it should not only add light, but *finally* provide us with the ability to see what we are doing again!

lol, well if I could get it to make my coffee in the morning i'd be set! lol I actually couldn't imagine running with it. Isn't it a bit cumbersome? I have a small 1GB shuffle I use to run with. Course doesn't have the alerts but I just used it for music and motivation :D

I have a Iphone 3G as well but have not gotten into the whole apps stuff yet... Yes, I am technologically slow. I'm just loving the calender (note for daily weight input) and notes (shopping list) feature and off course ipod!!! I have to say that I love this toy.
