Sport Anyone else develop an aversion to fake food?

Question is in the title. I was just thinking how I have trouble eating out since so much of what restaurants (especially cheaper restaurants) serve is processed garbage. So many artificial ingredients, additives and fillers I feel like I can taste it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I've been enjoying cookies and pie a little too much lately but at least it's from Whole Foods. The other day I had a cookie from work (a cookie whose ingredient list took up the whole box) and it just tasted plastic to me. I used to love them though. I also notice I don't digest those foods as well. It's like they don't give me the same kind of energy "real" garbage does.

Anyone else notice the same thing?

i know exactly what you mean. my main issue with eating out though is salt. since ive gotten used to what my friends call "tasteless" food, when i eat out, it seems that all i taste is salt.

I too have a very hard time, as my entire family does.

I will get like a foam that comes back up in lil burps and such.

It must be some type of preservative or something.

Once I REALLY cleaned up my diet, it started very soon afterwards.

I have - I also know that natural food > processed food, even when it comes to junk food. The body seems to have an easier time dealing with it in a manner beneficial to me.

Unfortunately, I don't know. I haven't eaten taco bell, mcdonalds, and/or other favorite junk food for quite some time now.

As for other going to restaurants, I try to order stuff that is as plain as possible. For example, pasta without any sauce or cheese, and some Italian bread without any thing on it. I find it great without the sauce or cheese, so it isn't as bad as it sounds.

A foam? That's interesting. Notice what types of foods cause it?

I notice that when I eat said crap I get a knot in my stomach. It's like my body just ceases all digestion.

curry- definately and i love curry food
hot wings (but not home made ones) happened on Saturday
things with sauces

I'm just about sure it is some type of additive

I know what you mean.

I use to eat fast food AT LEAST once per day.. I loved the stuff.

In the past year+ though I've completely revamped my diet and eat MUCH healthier now... on the occasion that I do eat fast food it just tastes so gross to me now... I often end up feelin sick after eating it.
