ok, now i know i will probably get alot of comments for this thread but here goes. I have a Bmi of i think 23. not weighed myself but guessing I have put on a stone within past few months. I reckon I weight about 10st 10lbs. i was weighing around 9st 10lb. i would like to acheive 9st 10lb by the end of march. i have started back on my healthy eating ritual which used to be my usual eating. however, i am desperatly imapitent and i KNOW THESE THINGS TAKE TIME in order to make them a realistic goal, but would it be of benefit to restrict myself to about 500 calories a day for the first week, then bump it up to 750 for another week, then 1000 for the following week, then stick at 1250 or until i can work out just how much i need to eat to maintain my goal weight. i naturally have a large frame (NOT AN EXCUSE.......HONEST) i have very broad hip bones, shoulders and bust, so i need to work extra hard at looking slim (which i dont at the minute). will this kind of weight loss boost work. I desperalty want to shift the main bulk NOW! i jog for about 20mins a day, 5 days a week and i walk for an hour a day (with hound). please can i have some constructive advice for fast weight loss, or a boost to weight loss, i dont care how pain-stakingly deprived i will be. please dont all jump on my back about this one, i need results and i need them fast. Please dont ask why, i wont give reasons. thanks.

Why should anyone try to help you do anything that is unhealthy long term and will not help you with the nutrition education you desperately need if you wont even bother with saying the reasons why you want to rush.

Get Liposuction- or use the search feature on this forum - there's a method of fast weight losss that's been mentioned... That's not endorsed and I doubt you'd be able to stick with long term = but search and see if you can find it

i am fully aware of what what is nutritionally vaild in a diet plan and i do not beleive many people on here give reasons for their desperate need to loose weight or their in depth life long weight obsessions. I mearly said i have a limited time scale to loose weight. seeing as this appears to be a mature, productive and helpful site with genuine help from an educated perspective i would have assumed nothing more than insiteful and constructive advice. the reasons i am on a time scale are personal, i can not afford nor wish for liposuction and feel your response was TOTALLY inappropriate. i have heard members mention on this site before that this place is for weight loss, regardless of size or means so long as it is reached in a healthy way, and whilst i agree there is no long term quick fix solution to being overweight or maintaining a healthy weight i meerly asked for some advise with regards to whether or not is it affective to follow the afformentioned short term reduction in calorie intake.
Might I run the risk of sounding repetitive and state that i ask for CONSTRUCTIVE advice and criticism only. Thank you.

You will seriously mess up your metabolism if you restrict your food intake by such drastic amounts.

I would love to offer some advice, but the advice I offer is for the long term only.

Good luck in what ever you decide to do.

My only reccommendation if you do really decide to go to route is to take some multivitamin supplments. Also some fish pills (omega 3 fatty acids) would be great as well.

Other then that, can't provide any more CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

thank you, i appreciate your advice. I eat super healthy as it is. and my plan for a restrictive diet would focus on foods that would still reach my daily intake of vits, mins, protiens n an allowance for some complex carbs etc etc without the mass of calories or fat. this is only for a week to boost weight loss to be gradually increased, by no means do i think of stickinbg to 500kcal a day for good! thank you for your support and advice though x

nice one! morning excercise suits down to the ground. does this have to be an everyday thing? would 5 days a week do? and where do i get thermogenics (or whatever they were called????) do theyt carry any health risks, affect contraception? (im on the pill). thanks again, sounds like a plan.
