Any text messagers here?

I don't think this is something everyone can do, but I know that I love getting and recieving text messages/sms's... would anybody like to be my txt buddy (or maybe buddies if there's enough interest)?

Don't put your cell phone number in this thread! Just reply if you want to text your weight away, and I suppose anyone who would like to be your buddy will send you a private message.

Also, FYI, I am Canadian, and as such, can only send/recieve to Canada and the US without any additional charges, and I'm pretty sure its the same deal for those in the US... but the europeans, aussies, etc might be able to set something up among themselves here too! So this thread isn't just for me, but for anyone I guess :D
 
i wish i knew how! i have gotten a few text messages from people but i never knew how to reply! i guess its just one of those things every time i try to sit down with my manual to figure it out, one of my kids appears. then if i wait til they go to bed i'm too tired or i forget!

WW- You should just be able to hit reply then use your letters on the numbers. Ex. If you wanted A you'd hit 1 once or if F you'd hit 2 three times.

thanks, i tried that and it doesnt work. maybe because i have a prepaid phone. i dont use it much and just got it for emergencies. only cost me about $15 every 3 months to load time on it versus having a monthly cell phone bill i dont need or want! sometimes i dont even use all the time on it in those 3 months.
 
I've got phonebills up my ears, or else I'd go for it :D

It would cost whoever texted me a fortune though, as is my experiance from international texting so far (although all European). Doesn't cost me any additional money though. :cool:
