Any supplement brands to avoid

There seem to be many good supplements out there, are there and brands to avoid? Is Elite Whey Protein by Dymatize, ok? I saw it on sale.

Took a peek, looks good to me :) I take a look at ingredients and reviews to see what is in it (hate when there is extra crap) and to see what people think about the taste.

That looks pretty good to me. I use Isopure zero carb because I can watch my intakes better :)

I do know a lot of folks use ON because it is cheaper and they like the quality of it.

I tend to avoid most store brands, as there seems to be a lot of artificial additives in those products. If it's an emergency, the only store brand I reach for is Muscle Milk. But for my regular protein use, I buy some online at BulkFoodsDirect.com. Pure protein, nothing fake. Works great. Unflavored so I don't have much to say about the taste, but it mixes well in just about anything. Check it out.

Avoid them all, eat real food. They are overpriced, unregulated, may not even be safe, and may not even contain what they say they do. The best way to get nutrients is from a healthy, varied diet, not from consuming isolated nutrients in a pill or powder.

I use to think pretty much like this....but if you workout hard enough, are serious enough, and want to take it to the next level, then eventually this mentality won't get you there....well not for all of us.

There are those who naturally have the genes to get there, but most of us who have to regulate the percents, in our foods, sometimes will need the supplements.

I know some people feel this way, and i do not advocate using many diff supplements, but certain ones help alot. I would never give up taking whey.
