Hi all,

I want to know if this product has had any success? I have recently ordered it but am now thinking of sendin it back....I also bought the energy bars full of protein ( called Promax diet bars).. I am worried about these products having an effect on my metabolism (in a too extreme sense) as I am on the contraception "Implanon", the implant that slowly releases the hormones needed to protect me, over three years.

Are there any women that have tried this out/or do you know of anyone who had this product checked out regarding the above?

Thanks!

Well diet bars aren't a magic bullet in any sense. My recommendation is to use them as a snack or as a meal with a piece of fruit or a salad, as most of the diet bars are ~250-300 calories.

As far as it affecting your metabolism, you have to look at the big picture such as exercise routine, total caloric intake, macro nutrient ratio, and the quality and types of "real" food you'll be eating on a daily basis along with these bars.

Granted meal bars are great for a quick snack or part of controlling calories in a breakfast or lunch, but you have to ask yourself why are you buying them and how do you plan to fit these into your routine without totally relying on them for every meal.
