any late night/ before bed snack?

i always get home late and am looking for something to snack on before i goto bed, should i break this unhealthy habbit or are there healthy things that i could be snacking on instead of chips or cookies?
 
protein shake ... or something high in protein ... unless you have a big tournement or a big game where cardio needs are high and you need the energy from carbs.
 
I find that to be a problem also...that's why in the evening on my way home from the gym I'll stop and grab a Large tea...celery maybe with cheese on it...or any protein...boil some eggs ahead of time and have them in the fridge...mmmmm!
 
i do cottage cheese with splenda and cinnamon then one serving of natural peanut butter right off the spoon before bed.
 
that reminds me I think one of the deserts in the South Beach diet is Ricotta cheese, with a dab of vanilla for the sweet tooth!
 
.....and how late should your last snack be? If I'd let it go...I'm a midnight muncher. I will wake up from a dead sleep at night with serious hunger pangs. So far I've been killing them off with water.
 
i eat at 7:30pm and i'm in bed for 8pm roughly. up at 4am to train starting at 4:15am

i tried different things until i settled on my meal. with the cc and pb, i dont wake up in the morning hungry like a son of a biscuit.
 
because of work. we work from 6am till whenever. might be 3:00pm just as easily as it might be 6pm.

it was messing with my workouts so i changed to before work to get it done and get it out of they way. :)
