Weight-Loss Any help would be appreciated <3

Weight-Loss
I am currently 6"1 tall and ~175 lb.'s and looking to lose 15-25 lb's within the next 4 months. I feel that it is more then a reasonable goal based on the time given, although the part i need help on is the diet part. I have absolutely not clue what i should be eating. I do know that i should be eating between 6-9 meals a day and drinking loads of water. I already go to the gym and alternate weights and cardio of 1 hour sessions but still allow 1-2 days a week rest. If anyone could please recomend some sort of a diet i could easily follow under a decent budget possibly without any fish (ack i hate fish). I know i should be eating a fair bit of protien in my diet to retain muscle and am willing to eat just about anything

Are you M or F?

If you're male, 175 lbs is a healthy weight for over 6 foot tall. I'm not sure that you could lose 25 lbs without becoming a professional athlete in the cardio field, such as cyclist Lance Armstrong. But you can try.

If you're female, 175 still may be a healthy weight for being so tall. However if you want to lose some weight in a healthy range, it may be possible to achieve your goal.

Count calories. To lose 25 lbs in 4 months, consume 720 calories less a day than you do now. If you don't know how many you consume now, use an online calculator to determine your daily caloric needs Any exercise will help. And stay hydrated, water preferably, and lots of it.

Without fish, that basically leaves you with chicken and turkey for meats, skinless only. I also tried buffalo steak once, which is 0% fat 0% carbs and only 100 calories per 4 ounces, but at $15 a pound its a little pricey for everyday eating. I myself do boneless skinless chicken breasts on the george foreman grill after marinating and sprinkle on some spices. Most everything else I eat is veggies, yogurt, cottage cheese, and oatmeal. But for the most part lean meats and veggies.

Gender

Im a male. i know that my weight seems to be average, but i thinnk that i could definately lose 10-15 lbs. I dont think that my weight is at the point where i should worry about it much, but i also do not want to get to that point lol. Ive been skinny basically my whole life, and would perfer to keep it that way.

Well I don't think you're overweight in that case. To achieve your goal without starving yourself, you'll have to do lots of cardio as a lifestyle.

Hi and welcome! Personally I don't think it's a good idea for anyone to just recommend a diet to you. As a personal trianer and lifestyle management consultant I design nutrition programs for people, but only after VERY thorough assessments. Everyone is very different and has very different needs. No one can know what you should eat from reading a post.

A warning about calorie calculators...they may give you a good answer, but they can be few HUNDRED calories off. If I ate what calorie calculators recommended I would starve to death.

One thing I will recommend is eating foods as natural as possible. Try to eat unprocessed foods. Try for a carb and a protein in each meal. Keep your meals small and frequent. Lots of lean meats, veggies, whole grain carbs.

Hope that helps. If I can answer questions please let me know.
