Any experienced can help me out?

I have trained hard few years back but have been very lazy last few years.
So it's kinda like starting over for me.

I have to do a test in few months that is super important for me to pass.

I need to be able to run 10 km under an hour with a heavy backpack.
I must do 30 pushups and 50 sittups.

Gotta do these 3 things without becoming too tired.. so actually I need to be able to do more than that.

Now I'm guessing best way to reach these goals is just by doings those things few times a week?

but what about food? Do I have to start eating a **** load of food every day (done it before few years back) or is 1-2 small dinners per day enough?

im 170 cm tall and weigh about 60 kg. not sure cos I dont own a weight machine. but I admit I havent bothered making too much food cos im real lazy hehe. I prefer going out and getting finnished food but im out of cash now too.

Well, to be blunt, lazy won't get you to your goals. Eating healthy will certainly help, and preparing food yourself is cheaper than buying packaged food. Bottom line is if you want to achieve your goals, it'll take hard work.

For the push-up target you could start on this program.

thanks for that great site, I actually know thats a working system they got with the sets and small rests between em.
I managed 24 pushups on my initial test so I get to start on week 3 yay :D

Heres a bunch of stuff that should help whip you into shape fairly quickly if you're willing to work your ass off.

To be completely honest... you say you have a few months until you have to complete these tests, and complete them quite comfortably? A few months is not a great deal of time to prepare, especially for something like a 10km if you have not been doing regular exercise recently.
As said in the previous posts it will be important to eat right and prepare healthy meals and it will also be very important to train hard and be dedicated to that training.
If you're going to be training hard to ensure you are able to successfully complete these tests, it is going to be really important that you factor in enough rest time, or recovery weeks. The last thing you want to happen is to train hard up until you have the test and then burn out that week from training hard. So make sure you keep that in mind.
I have a little info on my blog regarding particular exercises which work more muscle groups and you get more out of whilst saving time (compound exercsies)
I hope all goes well.

I would make a guess I got about 4-6 months to get ready.. and then add 1 week for travelling there.

Is this time really that hard to do this in?
and in that case would it really be wise to use that time to make other excersices like squats instead of actually running?

I really don't know thats why I'm asking to be sure.

I loved that one hunderd pushups website.
Would be awesome if there was one more for both sittups and running 100 km lol or just 10 km :D

those ross training sites looked kinda advanced stuff for people who have been weight lifting for a while when i glanced over it.. am i wrong or right?
