Anuska

Hi!
Ive got a lot of doubts with my diet/trainning cause, Im taking it quite seriously but I dont think my body is responding as it should. Ive had several trainers with and had some pretty good results( also I took supplements and this time Im not) but now things seem to go slow, I dont feel energetic, and Im starting to get desillusioned with myself and trainer.
What I actually think is that my training is not very compatible with my diet, as the work out is supposed to be with heavy weights, but I dont feel I eat enough to have the energy. If I had a lighter trainning I think would do it perfectly, but now i feel weak, not lean...:(
Anyway, here the diet ( translated):

BreakFast:
- Green te ( with one saccharine)
- 50 gr Turkey or chicken or 40 gr fresh cheese sandwich

1.5 Morning:
1. Half sandwich tuna with onion and a bit of mayonnaise
2. 1 toast with 50 gr fresh cheese
Add a small peach or plum if im very hungry,

Lunch:
1st plate: 50 gr of legumes
2nd plate: 1. 135-150GR: chicken or turkey + 30 GR rice
2. 120-130 Gr meat + 60 GR DE potatoe
3. 250-300 GR white fish + 50 GR peas

1.5 afternoon:
1. Half sandwich tuna with onion and a bit of mayonnaise
2. A free fat yogurt and 2 nuts

Dinner:
a) A lettuce Herat + 30 GR natural tuna, a small tomato, 20 GR soy
+ 50 GR DE shrimps
b) Small cupo f green beans (150 GR )+ 180.200 GR white fish
c) A cupo f lettuce with white esparragus , one boiled egg and half an onion
d) A cupo f brocolli+ a small piece of chicken
e) 60 GR boiled potatoe +200-250 GR DE white fish

And the training is 5 days a weak, I do about 30 min cardio after...I alternate hlight/meadium/hard cardio.

Most of them are from 3/4 x 12-8 rep to get light to heaviest weight I can stand. Except with legs with with I do more reps ( 3x15 for example)
Mondays: BAck and bum
Tuesdays: shoulders and abdominals
Wednesdays: legs
Thursdays: Biceps and triceps
FRidays: chest, bum, light leg exercises.

Ill try and translate it as well.

By the way, Im 168 cm, thats about 5.6 I think. I wheigh 66 kg. 20% Body Fat, and usually have problem with retention. 23 years.

Thanks a lot for your time:rolleyes:

Hi and welcome! :)

I don't really understand your meals. For lunch, are those plates different options? What about dinner? The same thing?

How many calories do you eat a day do you think and what is the protein/carb/fat ratio? If you're not getting enough carbs you would probably feel weak. I know I do.

Have you seen any positive changes in your body? Clothes fitting looser or anything?

teresa

Hi, thanks for your response teresa.
At mid morning I have those 2 options.
At lunch I have 3 options for second plate
At dinner I have those 5 options.

I dont know the protein/carb/fat ratio...dont even know how the measure that.

At the beginning I got more strength and more shapes , but in a couple of weeks its been pretty hard to do both diet and trainning well. I dont think Ive lost a lot of fat even doing the diet properly, I feel quite flattish.
My trainer just thinks Im not doing things well...:(

Thanks

HTML:
You can calculate at: www.fitday.com

Thanks, the page is really good.

These are the results for a typical day.

Calories Eaten Today
grams cals %total
Total: 1207
Fat: 20 179 16%
Carbs: 111 367 33%
Fiber: 19 0 0%
Protein: 143 574 51%

Thanks

Yeah, I have eaten more before, and got better results ( leaner, stroonger, less BF)
It's really hard to know if the trainer is right with everything...
I feel pretty bad cause he really thinks its me who doesnt train hard enough and doesnt follow the diet.
Thanks 4 reading

I think he's recommending too few calories also for your weight and activity level. You can still eat what he's recommending but just up the portion sizes.

Let him know, especially if he is not a dietician.

Ive talked to him and said to do a carb up with two meals a week, instead of one whole cheat day. I prefer this, I do not like cheat days because i end up feeling full and bloated with whatever I eat.
And he will put a fatburner to have more energy. He says that I can do it, just that pycologically I maybe feel uncapable. Well try and see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ill hang up some photes after easter anyway, so you can opinion.

Thanks!

Instead of fatburner, you should eat more. Where did this person get certified from? Seriously if he is not a nutritionist, look elsewhere.

I totally get what u mean, an I AM going to take it into consideration.

Im not supposed to start with the fatburner yet, Im going to try some more time exactly the same, puttin my heart onto both diet and training,
I just really want to know if its not right for me or im just psycologically weak.

The thing today I was with him, and I trained GREAT, at 100 %, nothing to do with what I do with when Im alone; so thats what I dont understand, is it me, or is it really the diet?

Thanks A LOT.

P.D: He got the qualifications for being a monitor. ( supossedly :-S )

I have a problem sith my legs. They are too big. I do running to try and slim them a bit but this is taking so long!
Also I have resisting fat in my hips, and thats taking fatburners.

Ive been following 3 meal diet for 2 weeks:
Breakfast: white eggs and tuna tortilla
Lunch: chicken or turkey with vegetables
Dinner: fish with lettuce

On the third and fourth week I added CH at lunch ( rice o brown pasta ) and breakfast ( 2 pieces brown bread wit tortilla)

Now I am going to start a 5 meal diet, which I will put later.

I dont know why Im taking so long this week, before I could do considerable changes in my body in only 4 weeks, especially reducing BF. But now some parts of the body seem dead

Maybe the diet! Ive always done a 5 meal diet including all proteins fat and ch. This was to see how it went, and I have lost bf but dont look too lean for what I do.

Bye!

stats 19 may 2006: 67 kg, 20% bf
