antidepressant weight gain

I have gained 40 lbs since being on antidepressants. Low carb and exercise have not helped me lose weight. I know there are some antidepressants that don't cause weight gain, but they don't help me. I have to have an ssri.
Does anybody know how to get off antidepressant weight gain?

I would speak to a nutritionist or your md...I love your name..that was my knickname in high school... too funny!
I would talk to your doc about this and they can research it for you or a nutritionist thru your doc can be very helpful. I know that green tea is helpful for this but Im not sure what to tell you about the meds...im not up on that stuff.

which one made u gain the weight? sometimes docs prescribe another one in conjunction with first one to counteract weight gain or sexual side effects.
