Okay the time has come for me to seek out some serious advice:
9 weeks ago I had a baby (my first). When I got pregnant with her I was overweight. I weight 191 and am 5'9". I exercised my whole pregnancy about 3-5 times a week powerwalking. At her birth I weight 211 and within two weeks of having her I dropped down to 182 (yay!). At two weeks post partum I started exercising again to build up to running for a full 30 minutes, which I have never been able to do in my life until now. I have been able to run 30 minutes straight for about 2 weeks now. 3 times I week I run for 30 minutes and 3-4 times a week I run 30 minutes and power walk another 15. I started out running between 4.5-5.0 mph and now I run at 5.2 at a slight incline (on the treadmill). I am also eating pretty healthy (meaning I don't eat fast food or sweets, no soda, a little alcohol (beer only) and under 1400 calories a day). I have only lost 1 pound in 6 whole weeks. I am getting really discouraged. Before I got pregnant I was drinking several times a week quite a bit, I ate terribly and I didn't exercise more then a couple times a week and I was maintaining 190-195 lbs and not gaining. I need some serious advice and am wondering if this is at all normal.
