Im new here. I just have a couple of questions.
Im 23 6'2 235lbs. Im not looking to shrink down or anything maybe to about 225 Im actually happy with my size but I want to drastically decrease my body fat and loose my stomach which is the worst part of my body. I have been going to the gym for about 4 months. Not consistantly though. I am looking to tone up and loose my stomach. My goal is to have my body look a certain way by summer. My questions are as follow:
What is a good daily calorie intake? I know in order to burn fat you must decrease your caloric intake but I dont know what is a good number.
I usually have a great workout when I go to the gym but Im sore for the 3 days following so I usually only go like twice a week. Is it ok to work out when Im still sore? My friends tell me that this is the time to workout and it will help my muscles grow faster? but theyve been wrong before (alot)
Im currently taking whey protein after my workouts and before I go to bed the night of my workout. Should I be taking it more? Are there any other supplements that will help me with my goals?
I know you cant spot workout but I work on my arms alot (curls, bicep extensions) and they have gotten really toned but not any bigger what am I doing wrong?
