Another newbie! Hi!

Hey everyone.
My name's Nicola, i'm 19 and i live in the UK.
I'm 133lbs and i know thats not overweight for my height (5'4), but i do have areas of my body which i want to lose a few lbs from (expecially my belly and bum!).
So since yesterday i've been eating a healthy diet and also am doing the Kate Lawler Cardio Combat dvd (if your in the UK, i reccomend you get it, it's great!!).
I joined this forum for support, and hope to get to know people better :)
 
welcome to the weight loss forum! your not really overweight but sounds like you could definately use some firming up. as much as we would like to, its just not possible to "spot" reduce. you can start doing some cardio like walking biking or running and HOPE that some fat will be eliminated from your belly and bum but thats about it. unfortunately, your body decides where, when, and how much weight it wants to remove. but you can do some crunches and squats to help firm up those areas about 3-5 days a week. be sure to drink a lot of water everyday too to help flush out the fat your burning up. :D
