I usually exercise on the elliptical machine or the bike, but a week ago I ran a mile (after warming up/stretching) on the treadmill.
Since then, I've had a pain in my ankle that doesn't match the injuries I can find online. I didn't twist it and there's no visible swelling or bumps like shin splints. There's a dull pain there most of the time but I really feel it going up and down steps. I can't really pinpoint it, though when I stretch my ankle in certain ways it's worse. It's more to the outside of the ankle than the inside.
I had an injury to the head of my opposite side thigh, so the opposite leg is weaker and I carry more weight on the leg that hurts.
Any idea what this could be? Just a sprain? Thanks in advance for any info.
