Angry while working out

I'll be honest, I don't like working out. I know I need to, and I know it's good for me, and I want the results. But I don't like feeling overheated, sweaty, and it's basically painful as well. People say they get a high from working out. I'm wondering if they're masochists! I get really pissed off sometimes when I work out, from nothing but the workout itself. I don't think it's very healthy. Is anybody else like this? Is there anything I can do to better myself? Thanks

What kind of workout are you doing?
*You need to make it fun! You will never be able to motivate yourself to do it if you are ticked about it.
*Once you find the "fun" workout - be consistent with it.
*If results are what motivate you - only measure results ONCE a week. Write down your goals and work hard to achieve them. Do not keep getting on the scale 3 times a day - that will not do you any good.

I hope this has helped. I would love to help you so you can message me here or just email me! Keep me informed on your progress!!

Thanks man. I haven't really built up a consistent routine yet. I started doing P90X but it was too much for me at first, and I didn't like the idea of having to slack. I want to be able to keep up with what they are doing on the screen. So I'm trying to just do my own thing until I feel I have the endurance to go back to it. It's only weight training that causes the anger issue. Running (while it can be even harder and more demanding) for some reason doesn't do that to me. It's only when I'm lifting weights, push ups, etc.

P90X is a very extreme workout to get started out on. It is something that if your inability to do the workout causes anger or frustration - it is not the workout for you - yet. You need to build into it like I did. I would suggest Power 90 workout - Tony's program before P90x. It is not that streneuous starting off and will prep you for the P90X workout. It is a little dated - but like I said, the workout is great and you will definitely sweat and build at the same time - depending on how hard to push yourself. Plus - it may help build your confidence and passion to working out.

I hate weight training as well. No matter how much I try - I can not stick to a good routnine with it because it never excites me. Thats why I turned to Beachbody products for my exercise routines.

Let me know if there is anything you need!!

weight training shouldn't be painful bro. not during, not after. a little bit of burn, sure. a little stiffness the next day, sure.

but not painful.
