are wheat thins good for you? or would i better off eating wheat bread? im trying to lose weight. its the only way i can eat cottage cheese is with wheat?
any suggestions?

im not 100% sure, but i think wheat bread would be better for you because it might have less sodium than the wheat thins.

when trying to lose weight you should limit starchy carbs as much as possible (bread, crackers, pasta, even potatoes)

have you tried mixing cottage cheese with non-fat, no sugar added yogurt? I dislike cottage cheese too, but if I mix it with yogurt, you don't notice the consistency, and the flavor is all yogurt.

Otherwise, try looking on the bread isle for Wasa bread. Its like a thick cracker with 2-3g of fiber, and pretty low on the carbs. I often have it with canned tuna, since I despite bread for the most part.

I have a lot of wheat thins in my house and if someone were to ask me if they are good for diets I would tell them no. The meager serving size has like 6% saturated fat with high sodium. So if you don't care about the fat then hopefully you'll have a lot of water to wash it all down.

I like reduced fat triscuits. 3 grams of fat, 0 saturated, 0 trans. 0 cholestoral and sugar. 160mg of sodium. small amounts of carbs/fiber/protein. 7 crackers per serving.

Of course... I have trouble eating them without a slice of cheddar cheese on top so I'm lighting candles with a blow torch.

I like plain triscuts...they provide a really good jaw workout. Or maybe my teeth are sore from being worn down by sandpaper crackers. Heh, who knows?

wheat thins arent to good.
triscuits are better as they have only 3 listed ingredients ... wholewheat, salt and something else to preserve it.

where are wheat thins have a bigger list of preservatives and such.
shredded wheat would be the best, but most would think its the most boring too ... hehe.
