Lost 20 pounds last year. Just gained 9 back- some of it muscle weight- but not all. I need to really focus on what I eat again. I'm a sugar-holic. I behave all day until it comes to dessert, and with ice cream season quickly approaching, I fear for my diet!
I lost the weight last year by incorporating exercise into my life and doing a cereal diet. I still replace two meals a day with cereal (I love cereal and I never get sick of it) but I misbehave at night with sweets and on the weekend I pretty much eat whatever I want. I am trying to eat fruit instead of sweets, and I usually eat salad and veggies with chicken for dinner. I don't eat a lot of meat (I am very picky and don't like a lot of it).
I just celebrated my birthday and gained a lot of weight this week- 7 pounds! Part of it is because I joined a circuit training center (like Curves, but a different company called, "Hers Build a Body") and I am hoping beyond hope that some of it (most of it) is muscle gain. I am hoping that some of it is water weight from eating out of habit. We shall see as I go through this week.
My plan is to go to Build a Body at least three times a week, but I hope to go four. I will do Pilates on two off days and the final day I will rest. I would like to eat healthier dinners and not eat so many sweets. I really, really hope I can lose this weight.
