Am I moving too slow?

Good morning, everybody :) . I am a bit upset today. Thursdays are my special days when I take my measurements and check my weight. Today is exactly 6 weeks since I started my new weight loss thing:) . So far I have lost 23.5 lb which makes it aprrox. a little bit less then 4 lb a week loss. Please, don't get me wrong - I am very happy to loose any amount of Lb., just wondering if there is any way I can loose more weight per week? What is the healthy weight loss? I am also loosing some very imressive inches - for example I lost amazing 5 inches of my waist line:) . I drink a lot of water, I eat very simple foods:
Protein Shake for breakfast
Lean meat or fish with raw veggies for luch
Fruit Salad for dinner and I do not eat past 7 p.m.
I exercise every day on the treadmill for 1 hour on incline 3.4 miles an hour, I roller skate and bike( in fact, I made bike my only kind of transportation) a lot.

Please, any input is welcome. What do I do wrong? I see a lot of people here lost tremendous amounts of weight!I would like to join them too:) .
 
studies have shown that it's safe to lose 1 percent of your body weight a week... that way it will stay off for good...

Those that have lost "tremendous amounts of weight" have been at it for a while

24 lbs in 6 weeks is phenomenal.. if you drop to 2 lbs a week (which is safer) you'll be be at your goal before you know it.

What is your current weight?
 
My current weight is 190lb:( . It is so much easier to gain weight!I guess, I need to consentrate on a big picture and take baby steps. Thank you so much for your input.:)

atta girl... I felt the same way you did at the start of my weight loss journey in may - now i see that number slowly climbing ... and eventually it'll get to where i want...

Now git yourself to the club forum and find what team your on :D
