Am I loosing weight too fast...

I triple check the scale today and I don't usually weight myself until Thursday, but I just wanted to check it today 'cause I've been doing well this week and the scale said I was down 6.5 pounds since Monday!? Isn't this unhealthy? I have been eating right and I only exercise about a half hour to an hour a day. I've only walked around my neighborhood and on the treadmill (with an incline of course). I'm not really complaining, but I'm a little freightened!

When did you start your endeavor to lose weight? Because in the beginning, oftentimes, a lot of weight is lost within the first week.

I am certain however that the experts around here will want to know: How many calories are you eating a day? How many were you eating before? How tall are you?

i can pretty much guarantee that it is a combination of a change in water and glycogen storage. in other words, nothing to worry about at this point in time.

however, if the weight loss continues at that pace for the next week or so, then adjustments might need to be made

I say congrats and hope it keeps you motivated and on top of things every day. You will slow down, but at the weight you're at right now, and this lifestyle change, you're body is responding positively. Don't get lazy dolly!!!! It only gets better from here.

I'm not counting the calories but I'm kind of watching my intake of caleries. I have a bowl of oatmeal in the morning or a egg whites and cheese on wheat toast. Then at lunch I have been having the SmartOne meals (they were on sale this week), and then around three o'clock I usually have a small 100 calorie bag of kettle corn. Three o'clock is when all the girls in my work get their sweet cravings and since the kettle corn has a bit of sweetness it fills my craving.

Then for dinner, three nights a week, I have whatever mom is making. Mostly chicken since she had a gastric bypass and can't digest red meat that well (which is good for me 'cause I hate red meat!) and then I'll have a salad or veggies. I've been cutting back on the carbs. The other four nights a week I work at a racetrack, and they nothing but fried food. Luckily that have grilled chicken sandwhiches and I will have one of those with some lettuce and tomato. Saturdays are usually the busiest and they have grilled chicken ceaser salad, so I'll have one of them.

I started getting serious about loosing weight about a month ago when I decided to stop drinking soda. I'm 5'5.5" and I started at 250 in the middle of April and as of around May 10th I was down to 230 and was stuck there for the past two weeks. And when I weighed myself this morning, I was 223.5. I checked the scale three times to make sure it wasn't off and it kept coming up that way.

Youre Fine, I Did The Same Thing, I Lost It Really Fast, But I Knoew I Was Being Healthy And Eating Enough And Exercizing Enough Be Proud Of Yourself!
